Location:  Taymyr Peninsula, Siberia, Russia

Here is a very nice tooth of Mammuthus primigenius from the Pleistocene Epoch of Siberia, Russia. This tooth is from an extremely rare, BABY mammoth! This specimen was found in the same area that was featured in the Discovery Channel special, "Raising the Mammoth". The tooth is totally 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. The grinding surface of the colorful tooth has barely erupted, but is beautifully displayed. This solid tooth also has the long roots still intact. And, as an added bonus, this specimen comes with a sample of real Wooly Mammoth hair (''Wool'') at no extra charge! This is a very cool example of a very scarce baby Mammoth tooth.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
