This is an excellent dinosaur vertebra. It is an Edmontosaurus caudal vertebra from the Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota. Dinosaur remains this detailed are very uncommon in the fossil record. This vertebra has great detail, and the long vertebral process is still intact (rare). The fine bone structure is very well preserved. The vertebra can be displayed at any angle. This is a top quality dinosaur vertebra from a famous duck-billed dinosaur.
