Here is a very striking ammonite fossil. This is a large Cleoniceras cleon from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. This distinct ammonite has been highly polished on both sides for optimal display. The coiling pattern of the cephalopod is easily seen, and the intricate suture pattern is quite distinct - the white sutures contrast nicely with the blond yellow cephalopod. The ammonite is beautifully showcased on a custom metal and wood stand (included). This is a very attractive specimen of Cleoniceras with cool display stand included.
