Size:  Amber piece is 0.5 inches long

This is an extremely rare find. It is a fossil amber nugget with a SPIDER (Araneae) trapped inside. This amber is 92 to 95 million years old, making it one of the oldest types of amber with insect/spider inclusions. This specimen came from the famous site in Sayreville, New Jersey. The spider has nice form and is easily seen under magnification (see photos). This is a very collectible spider in amber fossil from the Time of the Dinosaurs!
