This is a cool Eldredgeops rana rana plate from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There is one large and many partial trilobites on the plate. The fossils are inflated and exhibit fine detail. The individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are extremely well preserved. The black trilobites contrast beautifully with the light grey matrix. The large bug is nicely composited on the large matrix plate. This is a nice display specimen of Eldredgeops from New York.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
