This is an excellent specimen of a genuine meteorite, an ancient piece of outer space. This meteorite is from a rare witnessed fall - it fell to Earth in the year 1516 near Nantan, China, and the fall was documented in art and literature of the time. This meteorite is composed of 92% iron and 7% nickel. This irregular-shaped stone exhibits fine detail - the natural surface of the meteorite is wonderfully displayed. This is a very unique piece of the history of the universe - what a conversation piece!
