This is a very nice Allosaurus fragilis tooth from the Jurassic of Utah. Allosaurus (or "other lizard") was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs in the world before the Tyrannosaurids appeared some 50 million years later. This beautiful tooth has awesome natural color and fine detail preserved on the enamel. The tip of the tooth is fully intact with no wear, which is extremely unusual. The serrations are also quite distinct and easily seen. The colorful tooth displays beautifully, perched atop the base of Jurassic Morrison Formation rock. This is a collectible example of a very displayable tooth from this classic meat-eating dinosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
