Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is 1.2 inches long

This is a very distinct tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This long tooth is extremely detailed and has wonderful, natural lightbrown color. The tooth has a nice tip, enamel, and root preserved. This is a very fine specimen of a tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
