Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is over 1 inch long along curve

This is a very nice tooth from a carniverous dinosaur. It is a robust Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Cretaceous Deposits of Morocco. The serrations on the cutting edges of the tooth are clearly defined, and the very tip of the tooth shows a small amount of natural wear from use. The dark, red-brown, corrugated enamel is well displayed on both sides of the tooth. This is a very distinct tooth from this meat-eating dinosaur.
