This is a spectacular tooth from the theropod dinosaur, Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. This tooth was found in the famous Tegana Formation of Morocco. This tooth is extremely large - almost four inches long along the curve! This tooth may have been unerupted, as there is almost no wear on either the tip or serrations - the tip on comes to a nice point, and the serrations are extremely sharp. The enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and has wonderful natural coloration. And, best of all, there is NO RESTORATION to this fabulous tooth whatsoever. This is simply a top quality dinosaur tooth that just happens to be almost four inches long.
