Here is an excellent specimen of a mosasaur tooth. This is a Mosasaurus anceps tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This large marine lizard tooth is very robust and exhibits fine detail. The corrugated enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and the very tip of the tooth is near perfect. The fossil has wonderful color and contrast and has some original matrix still encrusted on the root. This is a very nice example of a tooth from this ferocious marine reptile.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
