Name:    Carcharodontosaurus saharicus Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is almost 1.1 inches long

This is a very nice dinosaur fossil. It is a fine Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Carcharodontosaurus was a ferocious, meat-eating dinosaur. The serrations along the inside cutting edge of the tooth are easily seen, and the tip of the tooth shows some natural wear from use, which is quite cool. The corrugated enamel of the tooth is easily seen and has nice, natural coloration. This is a very affordable example of a cutting tooth from this carniverous dinosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
