Name:    Tyrannosaurus rex Dentary Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Hell Creek Formation
Location:  Montana
Size:  Tooth is 2.1 inches along curve

This is the most sought-after type of dinosaur tooth in the world. It is a distinct Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from Montana. This specimen was acquired from a major dinosaur fossil collection. The tooth is large (over two inches long!) and very robust. The serrations are nicely intact and easily seen on both sides, and the tip and one edge has a beautiful, natural wear facet preserved. The enamel of the tooth is well displayed, and the natural brown color is simply gorgeous. And, best of all, there is no repair or restoration to this fabulous specimen.

T. rex teeth of this quality consistantly sell for over $1000 an inch - this one is priced slightly less than the going rate. This is a large, collectible dinosaur tooth from the most popular dinosaur in the world. (The tooth comes in its own glass-covered display case - not pictured.)

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
