This is a very nice dinosaur tooth. It is a distinct Triceratops horridus tooth from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This extremely 3-dimensional tooth is totally free of matrix and exhibits fine detail. The enamel of the tooth is easily seen, and the serrated tip is intact and wonderfully displayed, which is quite unusual. And there is absolutely NO RESTORATION whatsoever to this tooth. This is a collectible specimen of a tooth from this classic horned dinosaur.
