Name:    Globidens aegyptiucus Jaw
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Mosasaur Beds
Location:  Morocco
Size:  Jaw is 4.5 inches long

This is a rare specimen of a Globidens aegyptiucus Mosasaur jaw from the Cretaceous of Morocco. The button-shaped crowns of the teeth look much different than most conical Mosasaur teeth. The marine lizard jaw retains the fully natural jawbone and THREE teeth which is extremely uncommon. This jaw exhibits excellent detail - the enamel of the teeth is wonderfully preserved, and the jaw itself is in fine shape. The fossil has wonderful color and contrast and is well centered on the natural block of matrix. This is a very collectible, Globidens jaw with teeth from Morocco

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
