Name:    Edmontosaurus annectens Claw
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Hell Creek Formation
Location:  Montana
Size:  Claw is 5.45 inches across

This is a top quality dinosaur fossil. It is a HUGE Edmontosaurus hoof from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. Edmontosaurus is one of the classic hadrosaurs, or ''duckbilled'' dinosaurs. This claw/hoof is beautifully preserved, and the structure of the 3-dimensional bone is wonderfully displayed. This fossil has been removed from the surrounding matrix and displays strikingly on both sides. The hoof has a small crack that has been professionally repaired (normal), but this claw has absolutely NO RESTORATION whatsoever. This is an extremely impressive example of a complete hoof from this Cretaceous plant-eating dinosaur - the largest one we've ever seen.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
