Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Ksares-es-Souk, Morocco
Size:  Claw is almost 2 inches long

This very rare Pterosaur claw is the actual keratin sheath, not the traditional internal core
that is seen on reptile toes and hands. Detail and surface texture is superb. Many
ridges and valleys are evident, plus a very sharp tip, obviously used for holding
and grasping. The entire claw is relatively is hollow, which is extremely unusual. This is a very fine example of a flying reptile claw.
