Here is a great reptile fossil. This is a wonderful specimen of an Elasmosaurus tooth from the Cretaceous of Russia. This rare tooth was acquired from a major fossil collection. The tooth has been removed from the surrounding matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. The tooth is extremely robust and exhibits excellent detail. The dark brown, striated enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and the very tiny tip of the tooth is nearly perfect. The entire root of the tooth is still intact, which is extremely unusual. This is an excellent example of an unusual tooth from this long-necked, aquatic reptile that terrorized the Cretaceous seas.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
