Here is a very nice example of a tooth from Triceratops horridus, a classic dinosaur from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This type of dinosaur is a ceratopsian, or ''horned dinosaur''. This tooth is very well preserved, and still has the majority of both roots intact, which is quite unusual. The tooth has beautiful, natural brown color and exhibits fine detail. The tip of the tooth comes to a nice point. The tooth comes in its own display case (not pictured). This is a very nice, collectible tooth from this famous tri-horned dinosaur.
