Here is a nice example of a tooth from Triceratops horridus, a herbiverous dinosaur, from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This type of dinosaur is a ceratopsian, or ''horned dinosaur''. This tooth is relatively large, and still has some root intact. It has beautiful natural brown color and exhibits fine detail. The tip of the tooth comes to a nice chisel point. This is a nice, collectible tooth from this classic horned dinosaur.
