This is a striking Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, carniverous dinosaur that is also known as the ''Thorn Lizard''. This dagger-shaped tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and very clean on both sides. The tip of the tooth has a classic wear facet, and a lengthy portion of the root is still preserved. The thick, corrugated enamel is beautifully preserved and has gorgeous natural coloration. This is an excellent tooth from this ferocious, sail-backed dinosaur.
