This is a very unique trace fossil. It is a very large dinosaur coprolite (poop) from the Jurassic of Utah. This coprolite has been sliced with a diamond saw and then highly polished to reveal the unusual color pattern of the mineralization in the interior of the fossil dung. Many colors of the rainbow are easily seen. This is a very pretty example of a colorful dinosaur fossil - what a conversation piece!
