This is an excellent example of a Mosasaur tooth. It is a large Mosasaurus gaudryi tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous Valverde Collection of Fine Fossils. The tooth is complete, with the huge root still fully intact. The pointed tip of the tooth is also 100% complete, which is extremely rare. The caramel-colored enamel is beautifully preserved, with a row of tiny serrations present. This is a very collectible tooth from a huge dinosaur-like reptile.
