This is an unusual dinosaur tooth. It is a Panoplosaurus mirus Tooth from Alberta, Canada. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous Valverde Collection. Panoplosaurus was an Ankylosaurid dinosaur that lacked a tail club. This armored, plant-eating dinosaur grew to about 18 feet in length. This tooth is a very nice example. The classic spade shape is well defined, and the serrated margins are still intact. The natural, dark brown coloration displays beautifully on this specimen. This is a very collectible dinosaur tooth obtained from a major dinosaur collection.
