This is an excellent dinosaur tooth. It is a complete Triceratops horridus tooth with roots from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This extremely 3-dimensional tooth is totally free of matrix and exhibits superb detail. Both long roots are unusually intact and wonderfully displayed. The corrugated edges of the tooth are easily seen, and the blades of the tooth are showcased beautifully. And there is absolutely NO RESTORATION whatsoever to this tooth. This is an outstanding specimen of a tooth from this classic horned dinosaur.
