This is a wonderful Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, carniverous dinosaur that is also known as the ''Thorn Lizard''. This dagger-shaped tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and very ''clean'' on both sides. The very tip of the tooth exhibits a minute amount of natural wear, and a lengthy portion of the root is easily seen. The thick, corrugated enamel is beautifully preserved and has gorgeous coloration. This is an excellent tooth from this ferocious dinosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
