Here is a very striking fossil. This is a large Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is very nicely preserved and exhibits wonderful detail. The skull, long neck, body, all four limbs, and tail are beautifully displayed. The tiny, tiny tip of the tail is even present. This specimen has been meticulously prepared with an air-abrasive machine. The black bones of the beast are extremely 3-dimensional and there is NO RESTORATION to this fine fossil. The fossil reptile has excellent color and contrast and is well positioned on the somewhat rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very displayable specimen of a large Keichousaur from China.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
