Here is an extremely large tooth from a ferocious meat-eating dinosaur. This is Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This tooth has a sizeable portion of the root still intact. The corrugated enamel has beautiful color and is wonderfully displayed. The "cutting edges" of the 3-dimensional tooth are nicely defined. The very tip of the tooth exhibits a slight amount of natural wear. This is an excellent, robust tooth of this carniverous dinosaur.
