Name:    Tyrannosaurus rex Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Hell Creek
Location:  South Dakota
Size:  Tooth is 3.6" along curve, 3.4" straight line

This is the most sought-after type of dinosaur tooth in the world. It is a maxillary (position 9 or 10) Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from South Dakota. This specimen is over three and a half inches long - T.rex teeth over three inches long are very rarely found. The tooth is very 3-D and robust. The serrations are easy to see. The tip is fine, displaying the usual natural wear of a tooth this large. The tooth has been broken and repaired (normal), but this does not take away from the impressiveness of this huge tooth. T. rex teeth of this size and quality consistantly sell for over $1000 an inch - this one is priced much less than the going rate. This is a massive, highly collectible tooth from the most popular dinosaur in the world.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
