This is a huge cutting tooth from the large carniverous dinosaur, Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. Carcharodontosaurus was a Tyrannosaurus-like dinosaur found mostly in Morocco. The tooth has many serrations intact along the margins and part of the root of the tooth is preserved. The enamel is in fine condition and is an absolutely beautiful blond color. Although there is some matrix adhered to the back side of the tooth, at well over four and a half inches long, it makes for an awesome display. This is an extremely impressive and collectible dagger-like tooth from this ferocious, carniverous dinosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
