This is a large, massive tooth from a carniverous dinosaur. It is a Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This extremely robust tooth has a large portion of the root intact. The corrugated enamel of the tooth is nicely displayed. This tooth came from a huge, adult dinosaur and was in the mouth for a long time as can be seen by the natural wear on the tip of the tooth. This is a very displayable tooth from a large, carniverous dinosaur.
