Here is a great dinosaur fossil. This is a beautifully preserved Edmontosaurus hoof from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. Edmontosaurus is one of the classic hadrosaurs, or ''duckbilled'' dinosaurs. This hoof has great form and the structure of the 3-dimensional bone is wonderfully displayed. It is totally free of matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles.
