Here is a great dinosaur fossil. This is a beautifully preserved Edmontosaurus hoof from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. Edmontosaurus is one of the classic hadrosaurs, or ''duckbilled'' dinosaurs. This hoof has great form and the structure of the 3-dimensional bone is wonderfully displayed. It is totally free of matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. And, best of all, this claw has absolutely NO REPAIR OR RESTORATION whatsoever. This is a top quality example of a complete hoof from this Cretaceous dinosaur.
