This is a very large tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, "sail-backed", fish-eating dinosaur that was as long as Tyrannosaurus but not as heavily built. This tooth displays very fine enamel and has beautiful coloration. The tip of the tooth shows a very tiny wear spot. A portion of the root of the tooth is preserved. This is a very large, colorful tooth of this unusual carniverous dinosaur.
