Name:    Allosaurus fragilis
Age:  Jurassic
Formation:  Morrison
Location:  San Juan County, Utah
Size:  Tooth is over 1 inch long

This is a nice carniverous dinosaur tooth. It is an Allosaurus tooth from Utah. This specimen is still encased in the matrix it was found in, and has never been "popped out". The tooth is mostly free-standing, with the tip end sticking out of the matrix. The enamel has good color and detail, and there are even many serrations intact on the inner curve of the tooth. This is a very good Allosaurus tooth in a beautiful white matrix block.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
