Formation:  Morrison
Location:  San Juan County, Utah
Size:  Tooth is 1", matrix is 1.7" X 2.3"

This is a good carniverous dinosaur tooth. It is an Allosaurus tooth from Utah. This specimen is still encased in the matrix it was found in, and has never been "popped out". The tooth has some damage, which is to be expected from a tooth found in this hard limestone. The enamel has good color and there are even serrations intact on both the inner and outer curve of the tooth. This is a good Allosaurus tooth in a hard matrix block.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
