This is an Allosaurus fragilis tooth from the Cretaceous of Utah. Allosaurus ("other lizard") was one of the biggest carnivorous dinosaurs before the tyrannosaurids appeared some 50 million years later. This tooth has good color. Most of the serrations along the cutting edges of the tooth are present. The tip of the tooth shows a small amount of wear. This is a good example of a tooth from this large meat-eating dinosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
