This is a very nice dinosaur egg. It is a Dendroolithus (Hadrosaur) egg, from the Cretaceous of China. This egg is very inflated and retains its original "egg" shape well. This egg has been meticulously prepared with an air-abrasive machine to reveal the fine detail of the extremely thick eggshell, which is almost fully intact. The egg rests comfortably on a natural pillar of sandstone matrix. This egg would display very nicely in someone's home or office - what a conversation piece! This is a fine fossilized dinosaur egg with much of its original eggshell preserved.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
