Size:  Tooth is 2.2 inches long.

This is a nice tooth of Nanotyrannus lancensis from the Hell Creek Formation. Nanotyrannus was a carniverous dinosaur related to Tyrannosaurus. The tooth has good color. Many of the serrations are visible on the edges of the tooth. There is a small amount of natural wear on the tip. There has been some repair to the tooth (normal). Part of the root of the tooth is intact. This is a fine specimen of a Nanotyrannus tooth from Montana.
