Here is a nice crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A fine example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is well displayed, with the arms splayed open and the long stem intact. The fossil echinoderm has nice color and contrast and is well showcased on the natural plate of limestone. This is a cool crinoid from a classic locality that is now closed to collecting.
