Here is an excellent fossil tooth from an extinct Mosasaur. This is a huge Mosasaurus anceps tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This robust marine lizard tooth is very inflated and exhibits fine detail. The corrugated enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and the very tip of the tooth displays almost no wear, which is quite interesting. The fossil has wonderful, natural color and contrast and is well centered on the large, natural block of matrix. This is a very collectible and very displayable example of a huge tooth from this ferocious marine reptile.
