This is a complete specimen of a Mosasaurus anceps tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. The large tooth retains the full natural root, which is extremely uncommon. This tooth exhibits excellent detail - the enamel of the tooth is fabulous, and the tip of the tooth is nicely intact. The fossil has wonderful, natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the large, natural block of matrix that also contains a cool vertebral column. This is a very collectible, complete Mosasaur tooth with root from Morocco.
